CTK is headed by Acting Director Tilen Mandelj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highest governance body is the CTK Council. The CTK Council is chaired by Mag. Dunja Legat. The CTK Expert Council is chaired by Petra Durini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CTK is organised into several departments and services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customer Service Support (CSS):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ensuring that reading rooms are well maintained and that information resources in reading rooms are accessible,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carry out other work and tasks in the area of work concerned, as decided by the Head of Department<br>or director.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise and manage the use of reading rooms and related information and other services<br>infrastructure,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in cooperation with the custodians of the collections, ensure that printed material in the open access collection is organised and accessible<br>access and storage,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organises and manages the registration of new members and the library's membership register,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organises and carries out loans of printed library materials from the CTK's holdings,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise and ensure the use of electronic information resources in reading rooms,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provides basic information on information resources and assistance in using information resources<br>in the reading rooms and information about the library and its services,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise and implement the storage of printed material,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>helps organise user training,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>helps organise exhibitions and other events at the library,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manages the library's communication with users,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contributes to the library's social media and website,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>helps promote the library's services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The head of the department is Ms. Kristina Hoffmann (<a href=\"mailto:kristina.hoffmann@ctk.uni-lj.si\">kristina.hoffmann@ctk.uni-lj.si<\/a>), tel. 01\/2003 400).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Material Acquisition Department (PG):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>manages the acquisition of information resources and participates in financial planning,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>helps to obtain funding for the acquisition of information resources,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>implement procedures for the acquisition of information resources,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manages information resources for CTK (ordering, data entry and invoicing of received<br>library materials in the COBISS system, inventory of library materials and inventories<br>books, keeping records of information resources, equipping the library's printed materials received<br>materials, relocation, deprecation of information resources),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manages the consortium's procurement of information resources,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>acquire and disseminate a wide variety of information resources not available through the Funds<br>CTK, for domestic users and international subscribers,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>procure individual information resources from publishers, professional associations and<br>other providers, and imports information resources from outside the EU,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise and maintain a network of information resource providers and actively engage in<br>international exchange of resources,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monitors changes in domestic and foreign copyright and other legislation<br>work-related areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monitors substantive, organisational and technological developments in the field of international<br>sharing information resources and integrating them into ongoing work,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>help organise user training and other events at the organisation<br>libraries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promote the use of information resources and help organise<br>user training and other events organised by the library,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provides technical assistance to staff in higher education and special libraries in the area of acquisitions<br>information resources,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carry out other work and tasks in the area of work concerned, as decided by the Head of Department<br>or director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The head of the department is Ms. Tatjana Intihar (<a href=\"mailto:tatjana.intihar@ctk.uni-lj.si\">tatjana.intihar@ctk.uni-lj.si<\/a>, tel. 01 2003 414).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Information, Research, Development and Instructional Services (IRIS) Division:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>develops collections of information resources in the fields of engineering and natural sciences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise and carry out formal and substantive cataloguing of its information resources; and<br>information sources from other subscribers,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise and carry out the production of bibliographies for the needs of researchers and other clients in<br>information system for research in Slovenia,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>information retrieval, advice, user training and other services<br>specialised services,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>builds specialised databases, specialised collections, specialised catalogues and<br>repositories,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>is actively involved in the development of a national methodology for the evaluation of scientific<br>performance,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensures integration into the network of specialised information systems in Slovenia and<br>internationally,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>help organise user training and other events at the organisation<br>libraries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provides technical assistance to staff in higher education and special libraries in the provision of<br>information and processing of material,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monitors substantive, organisational and technological developments in the field of IT<br>activities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carry out other work and tasks in the area of work concerned, as decided by the Head of Department<br>or director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Department is headed by Dr Doris Dekleva-Smrekar (<a href=\"mailto:Doris.Dekleva-Smrekar@ctk.uni-lj.si\" data-type=\"mailto\" data-id=\"mailto:Doris.Dekleva-Smrekar@ctk.uni-lj.si\">Doris.Dekleva-Smrekar@ctk.uni-lj.si<\/a>, tel. 01 2003 431).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Open Science and Information Technology Division (OZIT):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>manages the library's information and communication infrastructure,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>provides IT support for the work of individual organisational units,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carry out and coordinate development tasks to meet the needs of the library,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensuring that the quality and efficiency of the library's services are checked,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintains the creative space, allows users to use equipment and tools, and provides loans<br>items for the house,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>collaborates with other public organisations to provide IT support on<br>in open science and elsewhere,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>collaborate with other public organisations in the provision of scientific infrastructure in<br>Republic of Slovenia in the fields of open science and elsewhere,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manages the DiRROS repository - the Digital Repository of Research Organisations of Slovenia,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>networking the library in Slovenia and internationally,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supports users and researchers in the production of professional and scientific works, in<br>handling research data, resolving copyright issues,<br>open publishing, and more,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>participates in and coordinates the Citizen Science Network,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>help organise user training and other events at the organisation<br>libraries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carry out other work and tasks in the area of work concerned, as decided by the Head of Department<br>or director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Department is headed by Dr Uro\u0161 Kunaver (<a href=\"mailto:uros.kunaver@ctk.uni-lj.si\">uros.kunaver@ctk.uni-lj.si<\/a>, tel. 01 2003 444).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General, Personnel and Finance (SKF):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>human resources, organisation and finance,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manages and coordinates legal support for the Library's needs,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>drafting the library's acts and secretarial work for the library's management,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organise and manage the library's document work and archives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>keeping library staff informed,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>keeping the accounts and preparing the statutory accounts and annual reports,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>performs financial and accounting work for the library,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>perform accounting controls and report data to ensure rational spending<br>financial resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>prepares financial plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>calculating and paying salaries and other remuneration,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carry out other work and tasks in the area of work concerned, as decided by the Head of Department<br>or director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The service is headed by Ms. Vesna Kalabi\u0107 (<a href=\"mailto:vesna%20kalabic@ctk.uni-lj.si\">Vesna kalabic@ctk.uni-lj.si<\/a>, tel. 2003 443).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Organi upravljanja CTK Ustanovitelj CTK je Republika Slovenija, ustanoviteljske pravice pa izvr\u0161uje Vlada Republike Slovenije.
