The reading rooms are open to all visitors, but only library members can study in them. Users must be members of the library to use the computers and terminals, except for the terminals for using the library catalogue and the terminals in the entrance lobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two wireless networks are available in the CTK reading rooms for internet access - Eduroam in Libroam<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can register for the CTK at the loan desk, for more information please call 01 2003 400 or e-mail izposoja@ctk.uni-lj.si<\/a>. To access the computers, users log in with the COBISS password they receive when they sign in to the library. In order to make the use of the library, its services and facilities as pleasant an experience as possible, the library has adopted rules governing the interaction between the library and its users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rules are available in the form of the CTK General Terms and Conditions of Business Rules online at<\/a>, which are also published in printed form on notice boards in the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reading rooms are located in the Open Access Reading Room, the Janez Puh Reading Room and the Anton Codelli Reading Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can study in a free-access environment in a lively working environment among shelves of books or magazines. As the rooms are also designed for reading literature and using computers, you will use them when you don't need complete silence when studying and you don't mind the background bustle of the library too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you prefer to study in silence, you will prefer the John Pooh Reading Room (known as the Silent Reading Room), which has 24 seats. The use of personal computers and any use of mobile phones or other portable devices is prohibited in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For group study, various meetings and other professional discussions or presentations, you can arrange to use the small reading room (Anton Codelli Reading Room). Use of the rooms for group study and meetings must be booked one day in advance at the borrowing desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Library members can rent a locker for 30 days on payment of the rental fee according to the current CTK price list. The monthly rental fee for the use of the locker is set out in the CTK price list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rental fee can be paid when the library is open, no later than 20:00 during the week. Three days before the end of the rental period, the deadline for renewing the rental period starts. This can be done on the last day of the rental period in person at the Borrowing and Reading Room Management Department by an authorised library staff member. The renewal of the lease is made by paying the lease fee for the following monthly period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lockers are intended solely for the storage of teaching materials. Food, drinks, clothing, footwear, unused CTK material and especially dangerous or harmful objects\/materials may not be stored in them. The lockers must be kept tidy and clean by the member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hirer is responsible for the items stored in the wardrobe. Members may not lend the locker key to anyone. If they lose it, they must notify us immediately by email izposoja@ctk.uni-lj.si<\/a> or in person to an authorised library worker in the Lending and Reading Room Management Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the rental period, the borrower must return the key to the authorised library staff member in the Lending and Reading Room Management Department, but it does not have to be returned daily. A member who fails to return the key no later than the last day of the rental period, or fails to renew the rental period before that date, will be charged by CTK for the non-return of the key at the prevailing rate after one week from that date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a member loses or fails to return a key within one week of the end of the rental period, we will charge compensation for the lost\/unreturned key according to the current CTK price list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to ensure consistency in the application of the rules, the CTK reserves the right to check the contents of the lockers twice a month (date not specified).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The locker must be emptied by the hirer before the end of the rental period, otherwise it will be emptied by CTK. The library will keep the member's personal belongings for 10 working days after the emptying, after which the more valuable items will be handed over to the police and the others disposed of. In the event of violations (violation of deadlines, finding unborrowed CTK material, withholding a key, etc.), the offender will be notified by e-mail. If the person has not contacted us within one week, CTK will empty the locker. CTK will keep the personal belongings of the locker tenant for 10 working days after the locker has been emptied, after which the more valuable items will be handed over to the police and the rest will be disposed of. The tenant will be reprimanded on the first offence and the right to use the locker will be revoked for further offences. The withdrawal can be temporary or permanent.
