We are looking for a Data Consultant."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Central Technical Library of the University of Ljubljana is looking for an Associate for the position of: <strong>Data Consultant IX D059003 (M\/F).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The work includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>managing, planning and monitoring the implementation of project work processes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>preparing and delivering lectures and chairing working groups and meetings on open science,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparation of analyses, reports, decisions and views of the work area,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Content processing of information resources in the field of research data management and data curation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>helping to set up a national support network to help you work with research data,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contextual enquiries and the provision of expert information on open science (information on national and European open science legislation and good practices in the handling of research data),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>building databases,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>managing infrastructure to support open science,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organising and delivering training,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>keep up to date with information and new developments in your field of work,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>international cooperation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>performing the most demanding work and tasks in the organisation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>other tasks that fall within the broader area of expertise of the post, as assigned by superiors in accordance with the law, the collective agreement, the founding act of the institution, the general acts of the institution and other information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Required qualifications after Classius:<\/strong> 182 Doctor of Science, 0500 Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Language skills required: <\/strong>Slovenian and English<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the candidate has not yet received training as a data scientist, he\/she will need to be trained in the handling of research data during the initial period of employment, in accordance with the current provisions in the European Research Area (Horizon Europe, the Law on Scientific Research and Innovation, the Regulation on the implementation of scientific research work in accordance with the principles of open science, the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Preference will be given to candidates who meet one or more of the following conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>at least two years' experience in a Slovenian or foreign research or higher education organisation (as a researcher, technical assistant or project office assistant),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>knowledge of national and international legislation on open science,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>knowledge of scientific publishing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>working with research data,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>experience of organising professional meetings and conferences,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>experience in web editing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>communication skills, particularly in the delivery of lectures, training courses and the management of meetings,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>organisational and leadership skills,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>responsibility, organisation, accuracy, independence and initiative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Offers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with a 3-month probationary period and the possibility of extension,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>full-time (40 hours\/week) with flexible working hours,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the possibility of working from home 2 days a week,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the possibility of taking a librarian's exam,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the possibility of further professional development abroad,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>opportunities to develop your skills, personal and professional development and exchange experiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The deadline for applications is <strong>22. 4. 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates should send their applications together with a short curriculum vitae, a description of their professional experience and copies of original evidence of formal qualifications and other relevant skills by e-mail to <strong>barbara.jazbar@ctk.uni-lj.si (01 2003 405)<\/strong>.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Centralna tehni\u0161ka knji\u017enica univerze v Ljubljani i\u0161\u010de sodelavca oz. sodelavko za delovno mesto: Podatkovni svetovalec IX D059003 (M\/\u017d).
