Individual or group training at your request

Why do you need library training? Effective use of information and communication technology is one of the characteristics of an information literate person in a modern society. The range of information resources in Slovenian libraries is becoming richer every day, so we would like to make their use easier for you.

Trainings help members of the CTK, students and employees of the University of Ljubljana, to acquire new knowledge in the field of library informatics. We assist you with new (and not always simple to use) information resources and show you how to use them more efficiently. We also organize consultations, workshops and courses for librarians. We personalise the trainings for you.

Trainings are conducted by information specialists and librarians from the CTK; they have many years of experience in the use of modern information sources. They are chemical, electrical, mechanical or construction engineers, architects and librarians.
All trainings are free of charge for CTK members.

To organize a training, please call Tilen Mandelj, 01 2003 410 or send an e-mail to: tilen.mandelj@ctk.uni-lj.si. We can also organize an individual training for you.

A visit at your institution

If there is a larger group, our CTK information specialists can also conduct a training session at the premises of your institution.

Guided tours for groups in the library

As we do not want to disturb students during their studies, a group tour in our library is only possible by appointment in the mornings from 7:30 to 8:00.

Additional information

As our space capacities are limited, the number of participants is limited to 12. We also provide individual trainings. The deadline for registration or cancellation is at least 2 days before the announced date. We can adjust the training schedule to you.

Please address your wishes, comments and registrations to: Tilen Mandelj, CTK Ljubljana, Trg republike 3, tel. 01 2003 410, e-mail: tilen.mandelj@ctk.uni-lj.si.
