We offer our users a course on how to use 3D printers on their own on Wednesdays at 10.00 and 13.00. The course is scheduled for 1 hour or as required. Completion of the course allows you to use the 3D printer independently in the CTK Creation Room with professional technical support from our experts.
The 3D printing process builds a 3-dimensional object from a previously digitally created model. The 3D printer builds the object by successively adding material layer by layer, which is why this process is also known as additive manufacturing or FDM technology. The objects or parts are built in very thin layers ( 0.05 mm-0.3 mm), which allows the building of very complex geometries that are impossible to achieve with any other manufacturing process.
After completing the course you will have an overview of the complete 3D printing process from 3D design, Slicer software, 3D printer to understanding how you can apply 3D printing technology to your work.
