CTK creative workshops

The workshops in the CTK Workshop are aimed at making concrete products. We want to encourage the full use of the equipment as well as the CTK information resources (e.g. relevant literature). We adapt the workshops to the needs of individual user groups based on previous knowledge and experience (e.g. tailor-made workshops for children, adults, workshops for the needs of study programmes of the University of Ljubljana and other higher education institutions, etc.). We can adapt the workshops entirely to your wishes.

Creative Sculpture Workshop: make a portrait in clay is organised for CTK members during the week and on Saturdays as needed. Due to space limitations, the maximum number of participants is limited to a maximum of 5 people. The workshop is free of charge for CTK members.

In the CTK Creative Workshop we are organising a free creative sculpture workshop where you will learn how to make an artistic portrait with a creative approach. During the workshop, participants will learn the basic principles of clay sculpting and, by practicing their skills and observing, will create a portrait. We will look at different sculpting tools such as different modelling tools, smoothing tools, etc... We will also look at the different stages of modelling and creating a portrait, from the initial stages where we learn about clay and the philosophy of removing and adding material, we will learn how to make a good base which is the basis for successful sculpting, to the later stages where we will learn about proportions and a little bit of the anatomy of the head. Finally, we will focus on the smallest details to create a distinct and vivid portrait.

The workshop is led and organised by Academ. Miha Knez.

A creative workshop for children using a 3D pen is organised for CTK members during the week and on Saturdays as needed. As we are limited by space, the maximum number of participants is limited to a maximum of 5 people. The workshop is free of charge for CTK members.

The aim of the workshop is to introduce participants to 3D art using a 3D pen. With the 3D pen, participants can explore and develop their skills and creativity in a slightly different but innovative way.Participants will start by learning about different ways to create a 2D shape using a pattern drawn on paper, thus practising precision and the correct use of the 3D pen, and then try a more free-form way to express their creativity.

During the workshop, participants will create various key rings and bookmarks, while the more adventurous ones will also be able to create more complex shapes, such as various animals, mythological creatures, etc....

The workshop is led by Academ. Miha Knez.
