The content of the CTK websites is protected by copyright in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright and Related Rights Act. Users are permitted to view and download the content in order to browse the site for personal and non-commercial use only. Any modification, reproduction, public performance, performance, distribution or other advertising or commercial use of the material published on the CTK websites, as well as the use of said material on any other website or networked computing environment for any purpose, is prohibited without express prior written permission. Any unauthorised use shall be deemed to be a violation of copyright, trademark or other laws and shall be a criminal offence.

CTK provides its users with a variety of resources and services that are accessible online under certain licence conditions (hereafter referred to as resources and services). Access to resources and services is only allowed to authorised users and then only for study, research and personal purposes. Eligible users are persons employed or studying at an institution for which access to a particular the source or service (at the University of Ljubljana, the Eligible users full-time and part-time students, researchers, employees of UL faculties, contract employees - the latter only for work related to their employment at UL, not for employment at any other institution) and other persons (members, visitors, alumni, pensioners....) to whom the library grants access under the terms of the licence.
In most cases, CTK members can access full texts in the library under the terms of the licence, but only for study, research and personal purposes.
Access to licensed material is always possible for eligible users from the location of the institution (based on the IP address of the computer or, where required, with a password). For most resources, remote access from other locations is also possible with a password login. However, some resources can also be accessed from remote locations by library members who are not members of the parent institution to which the library belongs.

Access to licensed material includes the retrieval, display, search, upload, printing and storage of individual articles, book chapters or other items of material. Copying and storage is limited to single copies of a moderate number of individual articles. Copying and storing entire issues of journals or books is not permitted. For most resources and services, the use of a moderate amount of licensed material for the preparation of lectures and other materials for educational purposes is permitted.
The Licensed Material may not be adapted, modified, altered, translated, made into derivative works or used in any way that would infringe copyright. Nor may you remove, obscure or alter any copyright or other notices that are part of the Licensed Material. Commercial use of the Licensed Material is not permitted.
Users of resources and services, available on the CTK, undertake to:
- to maintain the confidentiality of their assigned passwords, which they must not pass on to any other person,
- not attempt to gain unauthorised access to data, software, services and usernames on computers or networks for which they are not authorised,
- to use the information obtained from electronic information resources subscribed to and accessible from the CTK only for non-profit personal purposes in the context of educational and research activities,
- not to copy, distribute, sell or build their own databases on the data contained in the electronic information resources subscribed to and made available in the CTK,
- to make only one copy of each search, either electronic or paper, for their own personal use.
Rights and obligations of other libraries (in relation to access to licensed resources and services)
The electronic form of the licensed material may be used for interlibrary loan, but the article must be printed out beforehand. Printed copies may be sent by post, fax or Internet fax (e.g. Ariel, Prospero, DocUtrans) to the interlibrary loan departments of academic, research and non-commercial libraries. Interlibrary loans to profit-making organisations and individuals are not permitted. Electronic downloading of files is not permitted.
Action in the event of infringements
CTK reserves the right to immediately terminate a user's access to the resources and servicessubject to these Rules. Misuse of resources and services is a criminal offence. The Ljubljana court has jurisdiction over any disputes.
Use of CTK computers and network

These rules apply to the use of personal computers with peripherals, wireless networks and wired networks and network equipment owned or operated by the Library (hereinafter referred to as "the Library"). Computers and CTK network).
CTK computers can only be used by members. The exception is computers with the library catalogue, which can be used by all users.
CTK computers are intended exclusively for the use of electronic information resources for the purposes of study, research and professional work. Users of in addition to these instructions, must also take into account Rules for the use of the ARNES network, which provides the library with access to internet services, and all applicable legislation.
The library provides access to the EDUROAM and LIBROAM wireless networks for eligible users. Eligible users for these networks are those who are authorised and registered for use with their home organisation and who log in with their password to use the wireless network. In addition to these rules, these users must also comply with the general rules for the use of the aforementioned wireless networks and with the rules laid down by the users' home institutions for the use of these networks. For impermissible use computers and CTK network is counted:
- use of access to CTK networks for profit-making activities,
- deliberately interfering with or disrupting the work of other users,

- the installation and use of programs or procedures that have the purpose or effect of impairing the integrity and stability of operation computers and CTK network.
Users of they must not change the settings CTK computers. They must also not physically switch off CTK computers from the network and connect their computers to it. They are responsible for all other uses CTK computers as well as their computers connected to the CTK networkthat contravene these rules.
The use of computers in a way that disturbs other users or members or is not in accordance with CTK rules is prohibited.
CTK reserves the right to take appropriate action if it considers that the rules on fair use have been infringed. Such measures may include disabling access to, or revoking the right of access to, CTK's computers.
Library staff and security guards have the right to use the CTK computers for purposes other than those prescribed, the user shall not be permitted to continue to use it. Due to the limited number of computers, time limits and the possibility of joining the waiting list when all computers are occupied have been introduced.
Repeated, repeated infringements of the application computers and networks CTKs are considered a serious breach of the General Terms and Conditions.
The Library will immediately report any criminal offences committed using CTK computers and network to the competent authorities.

Activity tracking and statistics

Users of the EDUROAM, LIBROAM wireless networks and computers owned by CTK
CTK keeps a record of wireless applications CTK networkscontaining MAC addresses users and the IP addresses they have been assigned, as well as a record of applications to CTK computersaimed at to members; these records include the membership number and the time the computer was used.
