SCOAP³ (Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics) invites the interested public in the field of open science to an online forum. The new SCOAP3 contractual structure and the evaluation of the open science elements included in the new scheme will be presented.
The online forum is open to all, including representatives of the SCOAP3 participating institutions (the national contact point for Slovenia is CTK) and members of the wider scientific research community. Participation is an opportunity to ask questions of the international SCOAP3 leadership and the CERN operations team.
The event will take place on Thursday 18 June 2025, in the form of a webinar and will last 90 minutes. The web forum will take place in two identical sessions, starting on:
- session: 9:00 (morning)
- session: at 17:00 (afternoon)
Participation is free, no registration is required.

- SCOAP3 partners' perspective: Anna Vernon, Charles Brophy (JISC, UK) - 20 minutes
- A CrossRef perspective: Helena Cusijn, Kornelia Korzec, CrossRef - 10 minutes
- Moderated discussion with questions from participants - 10 minutes
