The Skyline S3 is a modern electronic sewing machine. It has 399 different programmes and a needle-to-neck distance of 21 cm, making it easier to sew larger items such as curtains. The sewing machine is easy to use, thanks to the electronic display which allows you to quickly see which programme you have selected and what sewing settings you have selected. It is suitable for both beginners and more advanced users.

To reduce the risk of electric shock:

  • Never leave an electric machine running unattended. Always unplug the machine from the mains as soon as you stop using it and before any cleaning.
  • Also, always switch it off before changing the light bulb on the machine. Always replace the bulb with one of the same type (15 W).

To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or personal injury:

  • A machine is not a toy! Special care is needed when the machine will be used around children or by children.
  • Use the machine only for its intended use as described in the manual. Use only the accessories recommended by the manufacturer and listed in the manual.
  • Never use the sewing machine if the power cord or plug is damaged, if it is not working properly, if it has fallen on the floor or is damaged, or if it has fallen into water. In this case, return the sewing machine immediately to the nearest authorised dealer or repairer for inspection, repair, electrical or mechanical adjustment.
  • Do not use the machine when the air inlets are blocked. Keep the air inlets and the pedal free of dust, fabric residue and yarn debris.
  • Never drop or insert objects of any kind into the machine's openings. Do not use the machine outdoors.
  • Do not use the machine in a room where aerosol (spray) has been used or where oxygen has been used.
  • To switch off the machine, turn all switches to OFF before unplugging the cord.
  • When switching off, do not pull on the cable, but grasp the plug.
  • Keep your fingers away from all moving parts of the machine. Pay particular attention to the needle area of the sewing machine.
  • Always use a suitable puncture plate. The wrong puncture plate can cause needle breakage.
  • Do not use hidden needles.
  • Do not pull or push the fabric while sewing as this can break the needle.
  • Always switch off the sewing machine when changing settings in the needle area, such as: thread insertion, needle changes, cleaning the bobbin, changing the paw, etc.
  • Always unplug the machine from the mains when removing the cover, lubricating the machine or changing any settings.
