Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is for ordering materials that are not held in the CTC. Thanks to our links with cooperating libraries, related institutions and commercial suppliers in Slovenia and abroad, we try to find the best solution for your request, whether it is a loan or a loan of material.
You can order:
- professional and scientific monographs, dissertations, research papers, conference proceedings,
- single issues of scientific, professional and other journals,
- articles, conference papers, guidelines, recommendations, reports,
- certain other documents in accordance with the licensing terms of the providers.
Ordering material by MI
Interlibrary loan services can be used by individuals (natural persons - library members) or institutions (legal entities).
Service prices depend on the type of service and the supplier (domestic, foreign) and are set by the CTK price list (in PDF file in the section Acquisitions - Interlibrary Loan - ILL). Some services are free of charge. If services are chargeable, the price will be communicated before the service is provided.
When ordering material through MI, try to provide as much information as possible about the material (author, title of the work, year of publication, publisher, pages, source, etc.) you want to obtain. If you will be using the material exclusively for study and scholarly purposes, please add this to your order, as this will allow you to order more cheaply from our partners and to receive the material more quickly.
You can order library materials:
- in person at CTK,
- by email: illctk@ctk.uni-lj.si,
- directly from the COBISS+ library catalogue via the web interface My Library (you will need your membership card and password, which you will receive when you sign up for CTK).
Delivery and loan period
You can pick up the material in person or have it sent to you by post. The speed of delivery depends on various factors involved in the delivery of the material (e.g. the type of material and the method of collection). Loan period:
- from CTK funds is 30 days;
- from other libraries, the deadline is set by the library from which the material was ordered.
