On Saturday, 16 May 2026, the CTK Conference Room was the venue for the Free creative flight simulator workshop, carried out by CTK in cooperation with the CTK Creative Workshop Virtual Aviation Club of Slovenia.
Visitors to the meeting had the opportunity to turn into pilots for a few hours. They flew from Ljubljana airport to the mountains and back to land, where some lost the battle with gravity and crashed, while others landed successfully. The visitors were mostly members of the Virtual Aviation Club of Slovenia, but they were also joined by visitors who were interested in the flight simulator and wanted to try it out.
Participants gained new experiences and were able to enjoy a banquet. During the workshop, a strong team spirit was evident as visitors worked together with club members to solve the puzzle of how to start an Airbus aircraft.
The atmosphere at the event was relaxed and enjoyable. The new »pilots« were introduced to the use of the flight simulator in a step-by-step and understandable way, so the initial trepidation quickly disappeared. No worries - all visitors left the event alive and unharmed. The flight simulator provides a completely safe, yet very realistic flying experience.
We would like to thank the Virtual Aviation Club of Slovenia for organising an interesting and informative workshop and all the visitors for their attendance and participation. We are glad to have discovered the world of flight and new technologies together.
The CTK UL workshop is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. You can also take a flight in the Creation Room with the help of a flight simulator. In addition to the simulator, there are many other creative gadgets and activities. Contact us at ustvarjalnica@ctk.uni-lj.si.
