Why education in libraries? Effective use of information and communication technology is one of the hallmarks of information literacy in modern society. The range of information resources available in Slovenian libraries is growing every day, and we would like to make it easier for you to use them.
Most of the training sessions are aimed at CTK members, students and staff at the University of Ljubljana who wish to acquire new knowledge in the field of library informatics or to make more effective use of the opportunities offered by the new and not always easy to use information resources. We also organise seminars, workshops and courses for library staff.
Training is tailored to the user's requirements and is prepared according to the user's background.
The training is delivered by our information specialists and librarians with many years of experience in using modern information resources. They include chemical, electrical, mechanical and civil engineers, architects, librarians and others.
Training is free for CTK members.
To organise a training call Tilin Mandl, 01 2003 410, or send an e-mail to tilen.mandelj@ctk.uni-lj.si. We can organise individual training for you on request.
