Portal openpublications.si provides information on the possibilities of open publication of scientific work in journals, in accordance with Regulation on the conduct of scientific research work in accordance with the principles of open science. On the portal you can find policies and requirements of funders in Slovenia and in the European Research Area on open access publishing, open science publication methods Electronic publishing and open access to research bring many benefits, but also pitfalls of bad publishing practices. These include predatory journals, fake conferences and misleading metrics.
List of open access journals and DOAJ search engine
Regulation In Articles 3 and 9, it lays down the modalities for open publication of scientific articles and monographs and the eligibility of open publication costs. We have prepared List of scientific journalsthat are suitable for open access publication under the Regulation. In addition to the reading, the consortia have also paid in advance for vouchers for open access publications. In this list, users can keep track of the indicative number of Open Access vouchers available.
The portal also includes a search engine of the DOAJ Open Access Journal Lists, the most comprehensive collection of open access scientific journals with transparent credibility and quality criteria. With this search engine, you can find the right journal for your publication in the Gold and Diamond Journals.
Continuous improvement
The portal is currently being piloted and will be further developed. In the future, we will also add information and recommendations on the possibilities of open publication of scientific monographs.
